AI summary: Trying Claude Opus 4.6, questioning the future of SaaS, entering a Gemini hackathon, pondering social media cross-posting, and researching browser automation with AI.
Claude Code with MCP works ok for browser automation, and so does Claude on Chrome - but both very slow. Considering whether there are any good local models, and using visual recognition or accessibility. Looking up SOTA other services; retired my ChatGPT subscription some months back.
Entered the Gemini 3 hackathon. Got good results with the model, but found the AI studio hard to use. Guess I am a Microsoft MVP though!
What's the future of SaaS? Lots of articles about the death of SaaS… even for myself, feeling like it's easier to write a detailed specification and then generate what I want. Enterprises probably need to invest in a solid data layer, and move business rules out of their app stack to support agentic actions.
